I am very curious about what happens to us after we die. Being a Catholic, I believe that we go to Heaven. BUT what does that mean exactly? Is it a place way above the sky where our souls all congregate and rest peacefully and eternally? Is it just a 'thought' and we really don't see anything at all? My mother's version has slots machines in Heaven. I like that theory!
What about ghosts? Some may think I am nuts but I do believe that ghosts exist. But why and how? Are they just lost souls? Do they have unresolved issues that they need to deal with before 'crossing over'? Are some just there to assure the ones they left behind that they are at peace? There are so many different theories behind it. The truth of the matter is no one knows. At least not until we reach that point.
